It was mid-week and there wasn’t a soul in the place. The charming winery sat nestled in between beautiful trees and on a hill of lush grass. Picnic tables were scattered around and there were winding dirt paths leading towards the vineyard with white puffy clouds against an azure blue sky. It was postcard perfect.
When Robert and Margaret came into view, it was like they belonged there. They did. This was their place. It was their official beginning and where Rob proposed.
I adore Long Island Vineyards. Everything about them; the rolling tidy landscape, the relaxed vibe, the rustic wood features, and of coarse the golden light. The wine is pretty sweet too, but to me that’s almost a bonus.
Corey Creek is extra special because it has a cozy appeal. It was a great place to propose and it will be an even greater place to come back to year after year to celebrate their anniversary.
I’m in love with proposals.
I don’t care if you were sitting on a couch when it happened or you were under the Eiffel tower. Each one is magical. I think it’s quite possibly one of the most romantic things ever. It’s an amazing feeling to know that someone wants to wake up next to you for the rest of their life. Ahhhh, I love it!
Okay, I’m going to let you all off the hook this time around with less to read, but more to view.
Isn’t it fabulous? I love how cozy and tucked away it is…
I like how the trees kinda mimic them…
A day in the life…
The spot where he proposed…
Although we were a smidgen early for the blooming vines, I still love the leading lines.
On the way out to the vineyard I noticed another beautiful location near by that we stopped at for a few photographs….
A frame within a frame… Inside out! ; )
I love when people throw their heads back in a fit of laughter…
A moment in between…
I think everyone needs a head-shot when they’re a grown up (that is NOT taken with their phone or computer)! ; )
Loved how relaxed they were with me and each other.
A fun rustic spot…
I’ll end on this note…
Thank you Rob and Margaret for such a fabulous afternoon and being open to stopping off at a random location.
I can’t wait until we are at Water’s Edge in August!
Thanks Renee and Michael for having such cool family members!
So happy to be referred by you both yet again…
Thanks a million R+M for the amazing bottle of vino. It was delish!
