Dear Stacey…
was how their letter began to me.
They’re words you don’t hear too often these days with this new found technology called the ‘Internet’.
It’s not a common occurrence anymore to receive a beautifully hand written letter.
But there is something particularly touching about it.
Maybe it’s because they took the extra step. Maybe it’s seeing their hand writing. Maybe it’s their choice of words.
Or maybe it’s just finding a personal letter among the junk in my mailbox that made me smile while walking back into the house.
Whatever it was, it made me feel like a million bucks.
My career…this job that was no more then a glorified hobby at one time, had touched a life.
It made what I do worth more than any paycheck ever could.
I want my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed. I want them to enjoy, live, and breath every second of their big day.
This journey for me is personal. It’s not, and never will be ‘business as usual’ here.
My clients share their lives, their story, relationships, friendship, and crazy schedules with me.
It goes way beyond a mere transaction.
And I like that.
I like that I get to celebrate and document some of life’s most amazing moments.
My biggest hope is that you can feel as much as you see when you look through this blog.
Dear Stacey was created for sentimental couples who realize that their marriage goes far beyond just their wedding day.
It’s more about everyday.
Dear Stacey is a sister company to Show and Tell Photography, my first ‘baby’.
Show and Tell will remain the portrait (baby, toddler and family) side, while Dear Stacey will cater to my wedding couples.
If you have been following my work/blog for some time, thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
