A Secret Garden – Don + Jessica – Montauk Wedding at Harvest on Fort Pond

Jessica said the flowers might be a wee bit wilted, and quickly apologized when she saw me lift my camera to take a picture of them.  She explained to me that she had used the garden flower bouquet the night before as a microphone while belting out Springsteen.

*Sighhhh*

Don’t you love her already?!

As her make-up was being applied, the ipod hummed familiar music. Jessica’s eyes lit up – like the melody was recalling a memory. She sprang from her chair – grabbing a pen and paper, and borrowed some words from Bruce to use in her vows.

Don grinned from ear to ear when he heard the vows…annnd truth be told any time he would look in Jessica’s direction through out the day. It was mutual.

It was a love that you could actually see from across the room.

The location for their Long Island wedding celebration was just as cute as it’s name, “Harvest”.

Tucked away in a cozy secluded spot in Montauk was a garden of dreams…as Springsteen would say…a ‘secret garden’. It was there while surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family they would say their vows and celebrate one of life’s happiest moments…perfectly.

They say Montauk is ‘the end’…but this…this…is just the beginning.

Looove the whimsical lighthearted feel to these invites. Such a fun look!

From a simple gown…to fits like a freakin’ fabulous glove

You’re seriously stunning Jess…

This little munchkin slept in late and decided to join us a few hours in for the preparation…

Remember those days…making your own schedule?

J.Crew dress and earrings…

Some details…

Harvest on Fort Pond…

Waiting for his bride…

 Eeeee!!

Almost there…

Butterflies…even for me!

I just love them!

On to the ceremony…

 My fave…

The happy sunflowers stood tall next to the couple when they exchanged their vows…

The intimate ceremony site…

At the end of their walk will be where the rest of her life is waiting…

Some people think a ‘first look’ may take away from the actual moment…I beg to differ. This way you get two great memories…

 From the rooftop…

Happiness is…

Have I told you yet how much I love the freedom of an outdoor wedding?!  It’s amazing to be able to walk around the couple and get every angle.

Even the bird hung around to get a peek…

Don and Jessica really went out of their way to make the day wonderfully intimate and cozy.

The bridal party was just the maid or honor, and the best man which I thought was very cool.

 The favors and centerpieces…

Mmmm…

The card box was a customized mailbox…

This is what I have to deal with!!

How lucky am I?

In between moments of belting out ‘Rosalita’ and sipping cocktails, Don and Jessica would sway to the music every chance they had. They enjoyed their day…together.

What a kiss!

Don and Jess…I love your sweet love and I adore how you celebrated your day. Thank you so very much for having me along. It was a beautiful story to document. Thank you for the wonderful honor!
