Everyday scroll Bob & Eileen

 

“E v e r y d a y.”

He emphasized the word and repeated it a few times as if he even couldn’t believe what he was saying.

“I’m not kidding. Everyday. Everyday she does this.”

 

Everyday when they get home from work, they hug with all the enthusiasm one could muster. She jumps in his arms and wraps her legs around him like she hasn’t seen him in months.

Those are the type of greetings you see in the movies. It’s the kind of thing you might do once in a while.  But, no. It’s an everyday occurrence for Bob and Eileen.

 They told me about their life in Albany. How hectic days (with work and school) ended in each others arms snuggled up in a hammock  just catching up.

There is something just special about a hammock, isn’t there? There is also something super special about celebrating life’s little moments. Whether it’s that extra minute to hug a bit tighter, or the undivided attention without the cellphone or laptop…or maybe it’s just sitting outside watching the cars roll by.  Take a minute to take it all in.

 

Life flies by. Engagements have gotten to be such a crazy time that we are almost wishing it away in hopes of getting to the next best thing. Enjoy it. Enjoy each other. Enjoy the planning. Enjoy the anticipation. Enjoy the moments in between.  Love is not just the day of the wedding. It’ shouldn’t be saved for special occasions. It’s in the everyday things, the everyday words, the everyday hugs, the everyday kisses.  Everyday should never feel ordinary again when you are spending the rest of your life with your best friend.

 

Here’s to wishing that you’re living your love ‘everyday’ like Bob and Eileen.  Because every day matters.

Reminds me a little bit about the movie ‘The Notebook.’

 

 

We ran into such fabulous luck during this session. While walking around the property we ran into this little gem of a car.

 

 

The blue in his shirt, the blue of the car…it’s like we planned for it. Oh. And a great pair of legs can make anything look good!

 

 

Bob said that every picture he has of them, Eileen is always squishing his face.  Why should this day be any different?!  ; )

 

 

I’m not sure how normal it is how much I love you both!

 

 

The tree, the fence, the dandelions…their love. Sighhhh.

 

 

The location, the car, the truck…I do believe we were in heaven.

 

 

I’ll end it on this sweet love note…

 

 

Bob and Eileen, I love everything about you both.  I love how kind and thoughtful you are.  I love that you treated me like ‘family’ from the moment we said hello. I loved our breakfast ‘date’ at Munday’s, and I adored this engagement session. I loved how excited you both were about it, and I loved the outfit choices.  Thank you for being soo fabulous. I can’t wait until the ‘big’ day this July!

It’s not everyday that you find a love like yours.
