Do you remember the best day of your life? Or how about a moment that you just wanted to stop time for?
You try to remember every detail of it. Every fact. Every smile. Every laugh. Every feeling.
Robert Goolrick once said, ‘the thing is, all memory is fiction.’
Interesting, isn’t it?
Put ten people in a room and show them the same thing and they will all walk out of there telling a different story.
Maybe because we all see things differently.
Maybe down the road life changes us, our feelings and our thoughts so the truth gets stretched and fact becomes fiction.
But sometimes though…
life is more beautiful, and more stranger than fiction.

These weddings that I have the honor to be at are like a good book that you would swear was fiction if you didn’t see it with your own eyes and feel it with your own heart. I get to document real love stories and meet the people living them. They are not just characters or clients really…they actually become friends.
I love what I do because I am able to stop time a bit to re-live the moments that make up their beautiful love story.
I’m thinking if I told you that by the end of this wedding that someone lost their pants, you probably wouldn’t believe me.
I could tell the tale, or you could just see it to believe it.

Here’s wishing that if pictures could talk they would tell you the ‘proof is in the pudding’. Since they can’t…good thing they can show you!
Classic white strappy heel.
The seamstress sewed this into the dress.
How fabulous!
The invitations had a fun little pocket that stored the details!
Before and after’s…

Trying not to spill their tears down their cheeks…
Love the variety of flowers…
They exchanged cards and gifts before seeing each other…
On the way into the church…
On the way out…
The rings…

The Inn at Fox Hollow has a private terrace right outside one of the reception rooms.
Some leading lines…
Love you guys!
Pretty in…purple…
During the toasts…
At the end of the first dance…
Hey Pumpkin!
Sometimes you don’t need to see expressions to know the whole story…
Mama’s boy…
It’s all fun and games…
…until someone loses their pants! : )
I’ll end on this note….
Ahhh Anthony and Carolyn, I loved you both from the moment we sat down at Starbucks. Every meeting, every conversation and every e-mail made me smile. Big. I love your enthusiasm for pumpkin picking, football games and for each other. Perhaps my favorite thing about you both is how thoughtful you are with one another. I LOVED seeing that side of your relationship.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of such an amazing day!

Saw these pics when you first posted them, and just decided to take another peek… and they STILL bring me back to that day, and how much love and most of all, fun we all had! We all know I’m a PICTURE Freak (I’m called paparazzi to everyone), you had even said something to me when i was trying to capture some of the moments that you were, and you did an amazing job doing just that, and more! These pictures pretty much summed up the night, but seeing all the pictures were priceless. Carolyn looked gorgeous, as always, and then you even made me brother look good, and that’s hard (haha jk!) Great pics!<3
