Wedding Wednesday – Long Island Wedding Photography
June 6, 2012
Last week I met with a fabulous upcoming (August) bride, Tara, to go over a few details of her art deco, 1920’s inspired wedding. I sat with a grin on my face from ear to ear as she talked excitedly about what their plans were for the big day. I’m sooo excited that I will be a small part of what sounds like to be such a fun event!

I adore weddings details that seem to make the day more personal. Setting the tone for the happy day starts for me with the invitation. Mike and Tara’s invite blew. me. away. I was literally walking around my house holding it just hoping for someone to stop by so I could show it to them! Everything about them is just sooo glamorous!! The card stock, the font, the die cut edges, the color, the sparkle, and there is even a feather for crying out loud! Heaven.
The few images I’m about to share are just some quick and simple snapshots…
The invitations were created by the very talented Diana Weir, of ‘Invited Design’.
The sparkle band, feather, and metallic red envelope were added by the wonderfully creative bride to complete the look.
Wow, talk about setting the mood. Those are absolutely stunning!
