When I asked Eddie what his favorite thing about Michelle was, he could have said her smile, or maybe something about her personality…but he didn’t. He said, “she does a little shoulder shrug when she is happy”.
Hearing things like that make me happy.
Sometimes it’s the words not being said that say the most.
We make promises, we speak vows…but words are just words unless actions follow through. Actions will be what holds a marriage together. To me, the age-old adage, “actions speak louder than words” is more than a mere expression.
When this world competes to hold our attention, here’s hoping we are all as observant as Eddie when it comes to shoulder shrugs, and that we actually see between the words.
After all, well done, is better than well said.
Eddie didn’t take his eyes off of Michelle once during the session…
Can you blame him?
Most men aren’t too excited about being photographed. Eddie was a bit apprehensive (like most men) when we started, but he totally humored me through out it all!

Thank you SO much for spending the afternoon with me, and for reminding me that it takes more than words to make a relationship work. I loved how effortless your love is, and how you both always had a genuine smile on your face when you looked at each other.
I’m looking forward to your big day in June!

You captured the ease of their love, the tenderness and beauty of Michelle coupled with Eddie’s quiet strength and handsome smile. True love is a delicate balance, these portraits reflect that. Thank you for giving us such a treasured gift. I was blessed the day Eddie was born and will be again when Michelle becomes his wife.
